Maintenance for your watch and jewelry

You are very welcome for our best advice!

At the bottom of this page you will find the manual for how to set the time on your watch

Congratulations with your purchase

A new, mechanical watch needs about 3 months to break in and will then continue to deviate by a few seconds per day.

The Margin for this is 2 minutes behind to 6 minutes ahead per month

For chronometer certified timepieces, a maximum of 3 minutes ahead per month

The advice is to have mechanical timepieces serviced once every 4 to 5 years

Intens movements that affect the mechanical movement should be avoided. think about golfing, renovating your home, etc

The warranty only applies to the functioning of the timepiece and never to external damage.

For your jewelry:

We offer an yearly check-up so that we can check and clean your setting of the stone('s')

We are looking forward to the next purchase

We wish you a lifetime of enjoyment from your purchase!

Instructions for operating watches with a mechanical movement

  • Winding the watch with the crown requires at least 20 turns (for a watch with a screw-down crown, first unscrew the crown).
  • Pull the crown out to the outermost position and turn the hands clockwise past the '12' (If the date changes, it’s 12:00 AM; if not, it’s 12:00 PM) and set the correct time.

Never turn the hands counterclockwise to set the time on a watch.

  • Press the crown all the way against the case, then pull it out to the outermost position. The date can now be set correctly.

Do not adjust the date if the time shows after 6 PM, as the movement is already in the process of changing the date!

  • Press the crown back against the case. For a screw-down crown, screw it down tightly by hand for water resistance. (Screwing should be easy; if not, unscrew it and repeat the process.)
